Fascism in America

I keep hearing twaddle about fascism on the rise in America. Now I guess I can believe it.

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the people who set fire to the Hummers at this GM dealership and the thugs who burned out Jewish businesses in Germany and wrote "Juden" on the storefronts?

Update: Added link to article which I neglected to included the first time I posted (and was roundly slapped on the wrist for). Mea culpa.

I didn't hear what happened. My response is, "What GM dealership? What Hummers? Who did it" Then, "Why is he playing the Juden card?"

I feel it's best to give your Web log reader (breader?) a recap of the details of a crucial topic in case they've been too busy working on articles about open and closed punctuation or coding telephone bills--the important work going on out here in the world of full-time publications professionals--to read a newspaper yet. And I was too busy trying to see Mars to hear the early news on tv as I usually do when I awake at 3 a.m.

We can't ALL be au courant, all the time. Please try not to be so cryptic. I mean, it's YOUR blog, all right, but don't you bear a certain responsibility to US? It's a heck of a photo, the violence is bloodscurdling, but I prefer my distress to be specific.

Sincerely,

At first glance I thought it was a picture of a burned out hummer in Baghdad, on closer inspection I see its a H2. Scary poop any way you see it.

The crime is the same, but the motivations are completely different.. Right or Left both justify voilence in their own way. One ideologies' freedom fighters.. are terrorists to their foes.. I suppose if the word had been around then the British would have called the American Revolutionaries 'terrorists' during our war of independence. War is ugly mean and in NO WAY fair, or is there any sort of rules by its very nature war is inherently and causes unnecessary harm on innocents. The causualty with which we declare war nowadays truly sickens me.. War on terrorism.. War on drugs. It seems like a war on intellegence to me. Just play with all your toys while we rape the world, and when a problem creeps up our first soulution (which should be our last) is to declare war. so I guess we should declare ' a war on Vandalism' but I guess that would already be covered by the War On Crime.
